Trollocs are the most common soldier of the Dark One's armies. Combining the brute strength and killing power of animals with the most basic of human intelligence, these creatures are fearsome foes on the battlefield. They kill for the pleasure of killing. Trollocs individually are of very limited use though, it was only when it was discovered that Myrddraal could control them that they became devastating warriors.
