[Edit] [Back] As I Walked

As I walked into meeting place of the Dagger of the Dark One I noticed many Things different from the outside world. One of the biggest was that Myrddraal paced around the room waiting to be called on to do the favor of the Dark One. Upon entering I was greeted by the leader of the soldiers. Ancilar was what they Had refered to him as. I was told today would be the beginning of my training. We Traveled to Shayol Ghul to turn my weapons from normal steel to the black Taint of the Great Lord. Upon entrance into this desolate land I noticed figures, Ghastly figures wailing and crying. I was told these were the souls of people Who lived here long before greed took over and destroyed the city.

The clanking of hammers could be heard far away in the city. The Blacksmiths being human couldn't wait to serve the darklord's purpose only To be destroyed by his taint's power. I gave up my weapons to the Dagger. They went to work on them hammering out dings and fixing nicks creating The weapons of an assassin. I was then taken to a Ter'Angreal to where I Would give up my past life as a simple person set off on revenge to become A soldier of the dark one.

Shining brightly the light seemed to be dull as the darkness cast a Misty aura over the smooth reflective surface of the Ter'angreal. The Border surrounding the doorway seemed to never end. Entering into the door I found myself in a town I knew long ago. As I walked into my home. I noticed everything was different the people who used to live here were All full of hatred and anger. They seemed to be searching inside themselves. An answer to why I had returned. They all seemed to hate me. I knew I was Being tested to see if I can overcome my old life and become what I was Training to be. Suddenly the sound of hooves and gutteral screaming Started sounding from the east. As I looked in that direction I noticed Trollocs attacking the village. As my friends were slaughtered and family Eaten alive by the trollocs need for flesh. I felt an unexplainable sense Of happiness. I watched as all were slaughtered the one they left to live I Killed with my own hands letting my hand's be bathed in their blood.

I found myself being pulled in a southern direction to the house of an old Friend. As I walked to the house I was overwhelmed with pain and  Suffering. I realized it was the house of a friend who long ago turned  Against Me and watched me almost die as a soldier from a different town attacked me. I busted through the door and ran straight to the room he was in. I Hesitated for a second when I seen him with a kid in his  hands but in that moment of hesitation he had pulled a knife from his belt  and was heading for me. Asking why My reaction was swift I reached into my belt finding a knife  I never knew Was there. I struck fast and hard slicing his arm muscles in half. His arm fell Limp, while it hung there I laughed. He said he turned  because he couldn't handle the pain. I then sliced the back of his calf.  As he fell to the floor writhing in pain from my blade I smirked then  suddenly fell Into a fit of laughter like I was going mad. I looked at  the blade it's surface Seeming to pull at my soul trying to suck me in.  Black as night the blade Seemed to be shining brighter than any light could. Suddenly I found myself back in Shayol Ghul laughing while watching The blacksmiths stick my blades into the lake of death. I waited for A while before touching the weapons. I realized this was the last oath I would ever take. I had sworn my soul to the Dark One. Gave my life  To serve him until death. His touch so pleasant and his anger so great. The chaos he causes is the death and end that people seek.

I bowed before the Leader of the Dagger as I took the oath to become a soldier of the Dark Lord. A sudden pain overwhelmed me as I felt the touch of the weapons handed to me. i sheathed the dagger at my waste always feeling it's taint. i smiled deeply then set off on the journey of a lifetime.
